Wowza a born & raised Astros fan likes the Cards momma?

Hello again basebal fans, I write to you today as a baseball fan in general not a die hard Astros fan. Shocking I know, but truth be told it started the night of Thursday June 2nd 2011. I guess for you to understand I should tell you a story before you want to smack me, so here other goes...

Thursday started out like another day, with the exception of my family being on a 5 day vacation in St.Louis MO on this vacation my aunt from Texas flew in to see us that day, so my family is rushing around like crazy to finish all the things we need to get done before we go pick her up..Hours after we pick her up and spend some time with her its Game time! Off to the stadium we go. As we are talking and visiting with her she looks at our online tickets (we were going to get the real ones at will-call) and says to my dad "H. why does this parking pass say June 1 2011?" My momma takes the paper and all our hearts start to sink as she proceeds to tell daddy that indeed the tickets say what my aunt said.

Daddy begins to flip out and says "I cant believe this. Well yes I can after the past few days we have had I can believe that some how I have the wrong date on those tickets. " as tears feel both daddy and my eyes I smile and say "daddy please let's pray I know that somehow some way GOD will give us favor in this whole mess." I then being to pray and ask Heavenly Daddy to give us some miraculous favor and daddy goes to the will-call office. As he is doing this I text one of my baseball buds wives and ask if they knew anyone in the Cards organization just in case for some tickets. As I am doing this a few minutes go by and daddy calls momma and we meet up with him, and he tells us that the Cards were able to re-emberce our tickets, and this is how they did it...

He said "I walked up to the office and explained to the lady that though I am an Astros fan first I am a baseball fan in general that came to watch a game and somehow I clicked on the computer for tonights game and somehow the computer switched back to the day before is there anyway I can get a refund and get tickets for this game even though I know the paper says "no refunds" and she told me she would speak with her boss after about 15 minutes she came back told me her boss told her to give us 6 tickets in the lower field box level, because they wanted us to enjoy a game. She also told me though she couldn't refund the money this is all she could do. I began to tell her I didn't mind sitting in my original nose bleed seats and again told me that they wanted us to have lower left field box seats on them. So everyone here are your tickets."

With a smile on everyone's face and me texting my buds wife to let her know we got tickets, a Cardinals game we went to watch! After the game I asked my daddy how much the original tickets cost he told me they were $18 tickets. I then asked if he knew how much our new tickets cost he didn't know so I looked it up on the internet and found that the lady upgraded our seats to (brace yourself) $77 tickets for the 6 of us! They doubled our original tickets and blessed us with even better tickets! All I could and can say is Praise be to GOD for answering a very big prayer for this baseball fan and her family!
